Marine Coatings, Inc. (PMC) was founded by Mr. Steve Morton. Steve
has over 27 years of hands-on experience in the fairing and painting of yachts
all over the world. Steve maintains membership in NACE and SSPC and is a
frequent contributor to trade publications on the subject of coatings
application techniques in the marine industry. He has taught numerous
classes on the subject and is frequently sought after by coatings professionals
and coatings companies alike.
Steve's particular concern is with quality workmanship in the fairing and painting process and has assembled a highly competent team of craftsmen to help on his crews. He, himself, can still be found with a spray gun or a long board from time to time! However, Steve is also actively pursuing his vision to incorporate technology into the marine coatings process in a way no other company has ever achieved. He founded and now heads Visions East, Inc., a robotic marine solutions company, delivering computer-controlled robotic coatings systems that perform the complete coatings process, including fairing and painting, for the superyacht industry. The first customer system is scheduled for delivery September, 2004.
